Alligator Alley Adventures is a family-owned zoo located in Wisconsin Dells, WI, that provides entertainment and educational experiences to the surrounding Wisconsin counties. Specializing in reptiles, our interactive live reptile experience is unique and exciting. We also offer photo ops with animals, a gift shop, self-guided tours, and animal meet-and-greets. Founded in 1997, Alligator Alley Adventures has been providing zoo-goers with an unforgettable experience for over 20 years. I learned two things the day we stopped here: That my Motorola Razr displays video on the outside screen when I try to record and that Snapping Turtles can see phone screens. Due to this I wasn't able to get a video of her eating because she became fixated on herself on the screen. We LOVED this place. We are reptile lovers and caregivers ourselves to 6 small Ball Pythons so we love getting to see the larger snakes and other reptiles. The gigantic python was such a chunker. They sell chunks of meat you can give to the animals and you can also buy mice and rats to feed to the animals. Absolutely cool!!! Amazing to see a 2 headed animal doing well. I'm glad the gentleman pointed him out. He was a beauty. I can't say enough good things about this place. These animals were very healthy and cared for. I had NO idea how big alligator snapping turtles got. They all seemed unsettlingly interested in our toddler lol The prices were great at this place, especially compared to other attractions.
I do have a question for owners if you see this we didn't think of before. Some of the more finicky animals that can be dangerous to overfeed (mainly smaller snakes) do you guys just keep track of what's been fed for the day and remove the "feed me a rat" signs until they're ready to eat again?
